Inviting Applications For Mentors For YIAMC Mentorship Programme (JANUARY-JUNE, 2023)

The Mentoring Programme provides Young International Arbitration and Mediation Centre members interested in arbitration and mediation with the opportunity to learn from the experience of more senior members of the arbitration community. Members of the young IAMC may apply to participate in the Mentoring Programme at the start of each new cycle. The objective of the YIAMC is to involve young professionals and students from India and around the world in building a robust network of individuals with an interest in arbitration. It is to educate young practitioners on best practices in institutional arbitrations, provide insights into the working of an arbitral institution and demonstrate the operation of the YIAMC Rules.
Who can be a Mentor?
- Mentors should be recognized arbitration/alternative dispute resolution practitioners.
- Mentors should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field of arbitration.
- The Committee shall appoint the Mentor, who will be invited to provide his/her approval to the appointment.
Commitments
- Demonstrates good working relationships with the Young IAMC mentees and Young IAMC requirements.
- Works collaboratively with the Committee, and support the aspiring Mentees.
