YIAMC MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
YIAMC MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME [August 2023 – January 2024]
Aim & Objective
The Young IAMC Mentorship Programme aims to be an inclusive and diverse programme,
involving participants from a wide variety of countries and professional backgrounds. The
programme is best suited for law students (national & international) who are interested in
global arbitration and mediation.
The objective of this programme is to facilitate the interaction of mentors and mentees and
enable them to learn and explore new opportunities for creating professional relationships in
the field of arbitration and mediation.
This programme is by no means a guaranteed pathway towards internships or job offers at their
mentor’s good offices/organisations.
Program Structure
The mentoring process consists of one-on-one (virtual or in-person) meetings between a mentor
and mentee, and it requires that the mentor and mentee work together to reach specific goals.
The duration of the YIAMC Mentoring Programme is for a period of six months. During this
period, the Mentor will be available to their mentee to provide advice and career guidance, as
well as the practical know-how of global arbitration and mediation.
At the end of the programme, mentors and mentees will be requested to provide feedback on
the programme.
