Call for Expression of Interest: Empanelment of Mediators with IAMC

The objective of this call for expression of interest is to establish a panel of mediators for International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad (“Centre”).

Background Information:

The International Arbitration and Mediation Centre, a first-of-its-kind in India, is located in Hyderabad- the capital city of Telangana, India. The Centre provides Mediation services, by combining first-class client service, cutting-edge technology, top-notch facilities, and in-person, virtual, and hybrid conflict resolution services. The Centre also facilitates the adoption of mediation and arbitration – through the processes of Med-Arb and Arb-Med-Arb, by which parties get the advantages of both arbitration and mediation in finding a resolution to their disputes. A board of Trustees and Governing Council oversee the functioning of the Centre at a policy level.

Eligibility Criteria for Inclusion on the Panel:

All applications undergo a selection process and are reviewed for skills, experience, and qualifications relevant to the users of IAMC’s mediation services. The persons willing to be empanelled as Mediators shall provide the complete information as below

Criteria for Mediator at IAMC

Mediation Training:
- Provide details of your mediation training, including the number of hours completed.
- Specify accreditations and recognized organizations that certified your training.
Years of Practice as a Mediator:
- Indicate the total number of years you have practiced as a mediator.
Number of Mediations Conducted:
- State the total number of mediations you have conducted to date.
Types of Disputes Mediated & Expertise:
- Describe the types of disputes you have mediated and your areas of expertise.
Publications on Mediation (If Applicable):
- Share any publications you have authored on mediation. Accepted formats: PDF (5 MB Max), JPEG, JPG, DOCS.
Empanelment with Other Institutions/Tribunals/Court-Annexed Mediation Centres:
- Mention if you are empanelled with any other institutions, tribunals, or court-annexed mediation centres.
Familiarity with IAMC Fees:
- Confirm your awareness and understanding of IAMC’s fee structure.
Willingness to Work Pro Bono:
- Indicate if you are open to undertaking pro bono work.
