IAMC Hyderabad Signs MoU with Kovise Foundation Conflict Resolution Centre (KFCRI)

We are honored to announce that the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kovise Foundation Conflict Resolution Centre (KFCRI). This partnership represents a strategic alignment between two leading institutions dedicated to enhancing the quality, accessibility, and institutional depth of arbitration in India. Together, IAMC and KFCRI aim to create a stronger, more dynamic dispute resolution ecosystem that can meet the demands of India’s rapidly evolving commercial and legal landscape.
The MoU sets out a comprehensive framework for cooperation, with a strong focus on advancing professional excellence and promoting innovation in arbitration practices. A key area of collaboration will be the joint development of arbitration training and certification programmes, designed to offer practice-oriented modules that cater to both legal professionals and commercial stakeholders. These programmes will not only build professional expertise but also encourage the adoption of global standards in arbitration practice.
Another important aspect of this partnership is collaborative research. Both institutions will work together on academic and industry-driven studies that explore emerging arbitration trends, jurisprudential developments, and sector-specific dispute resolution needs. By generating valuable research and insights, IAMC and KFCRI seek to contribute to the ongoing discourse on arbitration law and practice in India and beyond.
The partnership also emphasizes thought leadership and capacity building. Through co-hosted conferences, expert dialogues, and specialized workshops, the institutions will create platforms for meaningful engagement between practitioners, academics, policymakers, and industry leaders. These initiatives will foster legal innovation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and help strengthen institutional capacities in arbitration.
In addition, the MoU encourages institutional synergy by promoting cross-engagement of resources, knowledge, and technical expertise. By leveraging their respective strengths, IAMC Hyderabad and KFCRI will work to reinforce the arbitration framework in India and contribute to its emergence as a globally recognized hub for dispute resolution.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision to drive professional excellence, nurture thought, leadership, and establish robust institutional foundations for arbitration in India. IAMC Hyderabad looks forward to a long and impactful association with KFCRI, as we jointly work towards advancing India’s position in the global dispute resolution landscape.
