Tribunal Secretary

IAMC maintains a panel of empanelled Tribunal Secretaries to assist arbitral tribunals in the efficient conduct of arbitration proceedings. Tribunal Secretaries may provide procedural, organisational, and administrative support to tribunals, including assistance with case management, procedural coordination, hearing arrangements, management of records and submissions, and legal or research-related support, subject at all times to the directions of the arbitral tribunal and without derogating from the tribunal’s independence or adjudicatory function.

The appointment, scope of work, and professional fees of a Tribunal Secretary shall be discussed and agreed between the arbitral tribunal and the Tribunal Secretary, having regard to the nature and complexity of the proceedings and the experience and expertise of the Tribunal Secretary.

Note: IAMC does not determine, fix, or bear the fees payable to Tribunal Secretaries.
