The International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad, successfully concluded the inaugural edition of The Arbitrator’s Path: A Course for Women in Arbitration on 17–18 May 2025.

This comprehensive training programme, designed exclusively for women professionals, marks a significant initiative by IAMC Hyderabad to advance gender diversity and foster a more inclusive dispute resolution ecosystem. The course aimed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical tools required to be empanelled as arbitrators with IAMC Hyderabad, subject to successful completion of the final assessment.
Structured as a 40-hour intensive course, the programme was delivered through a blend of online and in-person sessions. The virtual component ran through April and May 2025, with interactive sessions held two to three times a week. Participants engaged directly with experienced arbitration practitioners through discussions, case studies, and Q&A sessions. The course concluded with a two-day in-person practical training and assessment held at IAMC Hyderabad.

The in-person segment commenced with a special inaugural ceremony, graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice B. Sudershan Reddy, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Life Trustee, IAMC Hyderabad, as the Chief Guest. Justice Reddy, drawing from his vast experience, delivered an insightful address that laid the foundation for the discussions that followed.

The training featured a series of energetic lectures and workshops led by a distinguished panel of arbitration practitioners and experts.
