IAMC Hyderabad signs MoU with Singapore International Mediation Centre
IAMC Hyderabad and Singapore International Mediation Centre have entered a Memorandum of Understanding Yesterday at Maxwell Chambers in Singapore.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Justice N V Ramana, Former Chief Justice of India; Justice L Nageswar Rao, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India; George Lim, SC, Chairperson SIMC; Wee Meng Chuan, CEO SIMC and Tariq Khan, Registrar IAMC.
Representatives from other international mediation centers from Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, etc. were also present for the ceremony.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) demonstrates a strong show of solidarity among two leading international mediation institutions to promote and facilitate the use of mediation in cross-border commercial disputes across various sectors.
The MOU includes the agreement to promote international mediation and jointly explore the possibility of organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, training programmes and other events.
Speaking on this development, Tariq Khan, Registrar, IAMC Hyderabad, said,
