IAMC–AIADR Tribunal Secretary Training Course Registration
Course Overview
As arbitration becomes more complex and time-sensitive, the role of a tribunal secretary has become a key element in ensuring the efficiency, clarity, and procedural integrity of arbitral proceedings. A well-trained tribunal secretary significantly enhances the tribunal’s functioning by managing case papers, assisting with drafting, coordinating procedural steps, and reducing the administrative burden on arbitrators. Skilled support often makes a decisive difference in the smooth conduct and timely completion of arbitration.
Recognising this growing need for trained tribunal secretaries, the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad, and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR) have developed the IAMC–AIADR Tribunal Secretary Training Course.

The programme is designed to equip young arbitration professionals with the practical competencies necessary for this role, offering a two-day, in-person training that provides hands-on exposure to case management, drafting, research, procedural coordination, and the day-to-day functioning of institutional arbitration.
Participants who successfully complete the assessments will become eligible for empanelment as Tribunal Secretaries with both the International Arbitration & Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad, and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), Malaysia, providing a valuable opportunity to be considered for appointments in both domestic and international arbitrations.
